Making a positive impact on people’s lives has always been my driving force. As an advisor at TCI, I am able to combine my passion to help others with my experience as a Certified Financial Planner™. Empowering clients to prepare financial plans aligned with their values and goals brings me the most joy.
After graduating from Northern Arizona University, I worked for a nonprofit in Los Angeles helping students from under-served communities get back on track to graduate followed by a brief stint in the advertising industry. With a desire to help others on a more personal level, I returned to my hometown, Tucson, Arizona, in 2016. That’s when I first joined TCI Wealth Advisors as a Financial Planning Associate. Most recently, I was Executive Director of 3rd Decade, a nonprofit providing no-cost financial education and mentorship to individuals who would not typically have access to unbiased professional financial planning.
The idea of helping clients make sound financial decisions and create generational wealth for their families while positively impacting their community is of utmost importance to me, especially since I have a growing family of my own.
I’ve been fortunate enough to see first-hand how having a real financial plan and a professional working together can be life changing. There are few things that give me more joy than sitting down with someone, learning what brings them passion and helping to devise a financial plan that is real, actionable and personal. There is so much power when people can be financially confident – they become better spouses, parents, coworkers and community members.
I have been in Tucson most of my life and so proud to call Tucson home. The people and the community are what make Tucson special. These days, I spend most of my free time with my wife Koni, and two young daughters, Attison and Taylor. I enjoy mentoring local teens through a program with Big Brothers and Big Sisters, playing basketball and hiking.
TCI continues to expand, grow and change to be at the cutting edge of the industry. What makes TCI special is it continues to be the same firm we were 30 years ago. Our clients come first.
Don’t forget the “why” when making financial decisions. It’s important to zoom out, see the big picture and build habits that help you make better financial choices, leading to better financial health.
