CORONAVIRUS TAX RELIEF: In response to the ongoing COVID-19 emergency, the Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service have announced special Federal income tax return filing and payment relief, in addition to other tax-related provisions that are part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). Please consult with your tax advisor and/or see the IRS website pages titled Filing and Payment Deadlines Questions and Answers and Coronavirus Tax Relief for the most up to date information available. You may also want to review your resident state’s Department of Revenue or Department of Taxation website for additional state tax-related information.

You should have received your 1099s from Charles Schwab and TD Ameritrade  by the end of February.  You can also access your 2019 Tax Reports on your custodian’s website.

As a reminder, the Form 1099 Composite reports are generated on taxable accounts, and report income and realized gains and losses, as well as management fees and margin interest expense (if any).
