Michael Grosso, CFP®, brings over twenty-five years of financial services experience to his role as an advisor and shareholder at TCI Wealth Advisors. After earning his dual bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing at Arizona State University, he was a consultant at Charles Schwab to over 100 Independent Registered Investment Advisory firms throughout the Four Corners Region. There he was able to assist many small business owners in the financial services industry. With a desire to work with clients directly, he continued his education by receiving his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2008. Soon after, he joined TCI by opening the Scottsdale office where he continues to help individuals and families achieve their financial goals.
Michael’s clients include those of high-net worth, at least $1 million in assets, with specific experience with clients over $5 million in assets. He serves as a trusted advisor for holistic financial planning which includes understanding the future goals of every client. Michael recognizes that wealth planning is more emotional than financial and works alongside his clients as a friend and mentor to provide financial peace of mind and a clear understanding moving forward. His business philosophy is to always place the client first. He consistently looks for ways to educate and articulate the differences in working with a firm where the business model consistently attempts to remove conflicts of interest. TCI is reshaping the financial services industry by offering fee-only services and he is an industry leader within the greater Phoenix area.
Outside the office, Michael is an avid ASU alumni and supporter, completing six years on the ASU Alumni Association’s National Alumni Council. You can routinely find him supporting ASU Athletics as a Sol Devil. He is also a life member of the Executive Council 70 (EC70), a group of working professionals dedicated to organizing and providing volunteers for fundraising activities to fund Executive Council Charities’ grant program. During his nine years with EC70, the organization raised over $30 million all designated to support Arizona’s youth. In 2017 and 2018, Michael was in the top five of all fundraisers securing over $300,000 annually for local children’s charities. Personally, he enjoys all outdoor activities; specifically golfing, biking and hiking both locally as well as in Northern Arizona where he spends most of his free time.
