I enjoy educating and engaging with every type of client at any stage of the financial journey. “Getting there” is the goal, but arriving at the destination is only part of it. As any adventurer knows, the best part of every journey is the journey itself.
Helping people is my passion and has been what’s guided me at every stage of my career. Whether it’s currently working alongside clients to guide them on their financial journey, or in my prior life in Medical School – helping is at the core of everything I do.
This passion for helping people and my love for problem-solving is why I enjoy being a financial planner, and why I love work at TCI. I gravitated towards financial planning because I found it to be very similar to being a doctor in many ways. Each discipline puts data at the forefront of every decision. Both require a plan and process in place to achieve a specific goal. Each utilizes creativity and cutting-edge research to find solutions. Both require me to stay up-to-date on industry trends and strategies. And while both are about helping people, only financial planning lets me be a holistic, “around the clock” advocate – helping people gain clarity about where they stand financially and where they’re headed.
Although I loved my time in Medical School, I realized that while I enjoyed the clinical aspects and critical thinking, my passion for people and problem-solving skills would be better served by helping others in a new way. So, I quickly transitioned into the world of financial planning and have not looked back. I love the financial industry and truly enjoy my career as a financial planner, especially with TCI and their approach to wealth management. TCI’s philosophy is goal oriented and everything they do is deeply rooted in people, not in products or profits; it’s the reason I love working here. Of course, success is the ultimate metric, but client care is the measuring stick to achieve every goal. Helping people realize their dreams and building authentic relationships along the way is not only expected at TCI, but encouraged every step of the way.
I am a goal setter and exhaustive planner. Logistics matter and honoring the process means a lot to me. I am sincere, very direct, honest to a fault and will always tell the truth versus “what a client wants to hear” or what is popular at the time. I take great pride in being a trusted fiduciary, so my goal is to always be authentic, stay transparent and to relentlessly provide unmatched service and support. It’s both TCI’s mantra and my personal mindset – that client-care is paramount – and client happiness comes before all else.
Though I work with all kinds of clients and can help anyone achieve their financial goals, my specialty includes doctors, engineers, business owners and clients with equity compensation planning. Having been in Medical School and working alongside new and resident physicians and seasoned doctors decades into their career, I have a unique perspective on the challenges they face and the obstacles to overcome as they begin their careers or build their wealth.
I aim to empower my clients with clarity and confidence around their financial lives. I want to inspire them to become fully engaged in their financial affairs, feel confident and empowered in their lives and be optimistic about their future. So, whether you want to be involved in every decision or if you’d prefer simply deferring to the experts as you enjoy the rewards of a holistic approach to wealth, I can help you exceed every expectation.
Whether it’s enjoying outdoor activities, exploring Southern Arizona, or attending live events like music, sports, or stand-up comedy, I am forever curious and unabashedly adventurous. This curiosity, commitment, and desire to try new things keeps me striving to be better. I am direct and honest to a fault and will always tell the truth versus “what a client wants to hear” or what is popular at the time. As a goal setter and exhaustive planner, logistics matter and honoring the process means a lot to me in everything I do. So each decision I make is data-driven and every recommendation has actual research and reasoning behind it.
I absolutely love being a financial advisor. It allows me to combine my technical expertise and personal relationship skills into building relationships for life as a friend, confidant, advisor and advocate. I take great pride in being a trusted fiduciary, and my goal is to always be authentic, stay transparent and to relentlessly provide unmatched service and support. It’s both TCI’s mantra and my personal mindset – that client-care is paramount – and client happiness comes before all else.
