Michael Grosso, CFP®, brings over twenty years of financial services experience to his role as an advisor and shareholder at TCI Wealth Advisors . After earning his dual Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Marketing at Arizona State University he was a consultant at Charles Schwab to over 100 Independent Registered Investment Advisory firms throughout the Four Corners Region. There he was able to assist many small business owners in the financial services industry but he eventually wanted to work with the actual clients. In 2008 he continued his education by receiving his CFP®, Certified Financial Planner designation and joined TCI by opening the Scottsdale office where he continues to help individuals and families achieve their financial goals.
Mike’s clients include those of high-net worth, with $1-5 million in assets who need more than financial advice. He serves as a trusted advisor on holistic financial planning which includes understanding the future hopes and dreams of every client. Mike recognizes that wealth planning is more emotional than financial and works with his clients as a friend and mentor to provide a peace of mind and a sense of relief. His business philosophy is to always place the client first. He consistently looks for ways to educate and articulate the differences in working with a firm where the business model consistently attempts to take away conflicts of interest. TCI is redefining the financial services industry by offering fee-only services and he is an industry leader within the greater Phoenix area.
Outside the office, Mike is an avid ASU alumni and supporter, recently completing his second term, a total of six years, on the ASU Alumni Association’s National Alumni Council. You can routinely find him supporting ASU Athletics as a Sol Devil. He is also an active member of the Executive Council 70 (EC70), a group of working professionals dedicated to organizing and providing volunteers for fundraising activities to fund Executive Council Charities’ grant program. During his six years with EC70, the organization has raised over 13.5 million dollars all designated to support Arizona’s youth. In 2017, Mike was in the top five of all fundraisers securing over $100,000 for local charities. Personally, he enjoys all outdoor activities, specifically golf, biking and hiking both locally as well as in the White Mountains.
