FAQ

  • When do I need to arrive?

We recommend you arrive to The Scott Resort & Spa around 3:00PM but no later than 5:00PM on Wednesday, July 13th. We will kick-off the Summit at 6:30PM! The retreat will end Friday July 15th by noon. To-go lunch boxes will be provided.

  • What should I pack?

Attire for the retreat is business casual. Although it is toasty in Arizona, the hotel meeting rooms are chilly. We suggest you bring a light sweater or jacket. More details to come!

  • What about my work?

All TCI offices will be closed for the two-and-a-half-day retreat and clients will be notified of the closure. Please enjoy the break from our day-to-day work and be fully present at the Summit! If you must check your email or be on your phone, please only do so during the breaks.

  • Can my significant other come with me?

All the events and gatherings are limited to TCI employees.

  • What if I want to make a getaway out of it?

The Scott is extending our group rate three days before and after our Summit! If you are interested in extending your stay, please let Tracy know June 3. You will be responsible for the $119 room rate + $25 resort fee and taxes for any additional nights.

  • If I’m flying to Phoenix, how will I get to the resort from the airport?

You are responsible for scheduling your own air and ground transportation. Please use Uber/Lyft/Taxi from the airport to The Scott. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) and is 10 miles from the resort. There is no need to rent a car. Everything for the Summit will be at the Scott. Self parking fees are courtesy of TCI.

  • What about COVID safety?

We will be operating under the CDC, WHO, federal, state (Arizona) and local, and hotel guidelines at the time the event takes place. Currently, there are no mandates in place as it pertains to mask wearing or social distancing. Individuals are responsible for their own safety and actions while and during participation at the Summit and recognize that someone could be at risk of contracting any illness when in a public space.

  • What if my room is not ready when the summit begins?

If your room is not available when you arrive and check-in, the resort will hold your bag until your room is ready.

  • Will I need to pay for anything?

The only thing you are responsible for are additional room charges and anything outside of the scheduled activities. Everyone will need to put a credit card down at the time of check-in for room charges, damages or incidentals.

  • What if I have more questions?

Contact Danielle danielle.larcom@tciwealth.com with additional questions.
